Dj & Producer TOM AMANING grew up in Ghana & London. After leaving London in 1995 for Germany he began Djing to help spread the fresh Jungle Sound in Germany.

After djing for a couple of years around Europe he made a name for himself with his musical, oldschool/jungle influenced tunes which were played by some of Germanys big dogs including Bassface, Sascha, E.decay & Mad Vibez.

Working with people like Mad Vibez, The Green Man, Syncopix & MTC Yaw with whom he released "High Spirit" under their synonym "I.S.S" (MTC Yaw & Amaning) in 2003, he soon caught the attention of international Dj's like Ink, Loxy & Flight (1 xtra) who invited him and TGM for a guestmix in 2003.

Amaning then joined forces with J-Cut and Canoma and formed AJC. Immediately garnering the attention of Clayton from Renegade UK who signed 'Sticks & Stones' and 'What u like' for a Renegade Release at the beginning of 2005.
A string of releases are set to follow from Amaning around summer ´06, some to watch out for are “Sixtant” on Fabios Creative Source & “On Track” on 31 Records.

Amaning´s sound is very vercetile and cannot be labeled as liquid or anything else, his strong musical influences like Roy Ayres give his music a certain soulful touch, but deffenately has a big dancefloor character. Now working on new projects with different producers like Loxy, David Carbone or Diz:play (N:phect & Diz:play) we are bound to hear some new & heavy beats from one of Germany´s up and coming Producer very very soon...

My next 12" is coming on "Crisis Recordings" in August and a tune with Stunna on Touchin Down, promos in August too.

mc.santana was born in Darmstadt, Germany in 1976. He has been living in Berlin since 1998.

life stages:
-1992 foundation of Basshustler´s, first hip hop crew from Darmstadt. Gigs in and round Darmstadt. Blackfish, Da Silva and mc.santana were Basshustler´s.
-1994 first mc´ing to a jungleset. ragga and jungle parties in Darmstadt and environs.
-1995 foundation of phunk m.o.b. (1st place at 'Sparkassen rock-contest', the first cd recording followed and 120 live gigs.
-1996 foundation of 'Kehlkopfmafia' aka Baggefuddaclub
-1996 foundation of Phishmaol, drum&bass crew. Organized parties and sessions in Darmstadt and Frankfurt/Main with guys like Bassface Sascha, Bailey and Kabuki.
-1997 co-operation with Gyration Rec. aka Steve Stitt & Sacha Benedetti, also dj x-plora (Shake up/Cologne)
-1998 move to Hamburg. Albumrecordings 'Santanische Botschaften' with L.X. (r.i.p.), unfortunately it was never released. Jungle-Mania resident, accompanied MTC Yaw (Mojo Club, Tigarbar, Hamburger Freiheit etc.)
-1998 move to Berlin. Hard:edged-resident (www.hardedged.de), Recycle-resident, foundation of heavy.rotation (hek187) in 1999. Performed at several clubs, underground locations, raves and sessions like:
- first loveparade in Budapest (trifelife-wagon), - Budapest (x-plora, ink, aziz, mat, dj kontrol (renegade hardware))
